Slow and dirty. We were the first customers of the day right when they opened. The place was not cleaned from the night before. The bathroom was filthy. It took 15 min to make 2 breakfast burritos. The food wasn't ready to go. We won't be stopping here again.
Meat and potato burrito was falling apart, potato oles were cold and under seasoned despite a very long wait at the drive thru window. Normally a big fan of the chain, but this restaurant was underwhelming in the extreme.
One star because I couldn't give them a negative five. Probably the worst meal I ever had at a Taco John's restaurant. Exceptionally skimpy on the beef, a burnt taco bowl, half filled street tacos and thanks a lot for dragging a dirty mop right under my feet while we were eating. If this is a franchise store, you should definitely look at how you're training your employees on portion control and when/where they are cleaning. Very, very, very disappointed!
I'd have to say this is among the top 3 worst Taco John's I've ever eaten at... might even be number one.. worst constructed tacos ever, some of them are mostly all meat barely any lettuce. Some were barely any meat mostly lettuce. I'd be willing to bet they forgot to put cheese on two of my tacos. Every Taco I had the shells were broken or soggy. The meat was inconsistent, some of it was spicy and some of it was Bland.. the staff was loud rude and unprofessional, not directly to the customers but it was an open kitchen so you could hear everything they said. The store was not cleaned very well. While I was sitting there eating I watched a woman mop the floor without even sweeping first. Was a disappointing experience
I gave it one star only cause I had to to rate the place to leave a review. First off the food wasn't that great. I would give it like a 4/10. The ladies working were very rude to each other and were yelling. I was hungry so I ignored it while I ate. However while we were eating one of the ladies was mopping around us which was very rude. When we finished eating I went to throw away our garbage the container from my taco bowl fell on the floor and the shell that I hadn't ate (cause it was burnt) broke on the floor. There was a worker wiping down the salsa station so I kinda expected her to help me clean it up but she just looked at me. So I picked up the big chunks and left the crumbs cause that would require a wet towel or a broom. So I proced to throw away the big chunks and look at the lady as I am about to leave and I kid you not the worker lady rolls her eyes and says and I quote "guess I'm gonna have to sweep that up." FYI I'm never going back.
